When all the shelves at the grocery stores were empty, we called KODAK, stocked up our fridges with 3000 feet of celluloid, then drove out to the desert at 4am, and shot the movie.

In recognition of Memorial Day, we are releasing our short film, CA•DENCE, again for a limited 36 hours. Thanks to you, we gratefully reached our goal and officially transferred 100% of your donations to the following organizations: TAPS, Mission 22, and K9s for Warriors--just in time for Thanksgiving! Thank you to the wonderful festivals that screened our film over the past 14 months. From the West Coast, to the East, and Japan, we were honored to bring our film’s message to international audiences with you. We are inspired by @kaylee_hawley ‘s portrait of Luca as Johnny Gillmore in the film. The details around the eyes and the neck really portray his character’s emotional struggle. Evolution of a prop. Thank you @kodak for providing us with film during the peak of the pandemic, and thank you @fotokem_la for processing our footage so precisely!
